Sustainable Sites Initiative

"Sustainable Sites Initiative: Guidelines and Performance Benchmarks 2009" has been developed by an interdisciplinary partnership formed by the American Society of Landscape Architects, The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, and the US Botanical Garden. The Sustainable Sites Initiative has been proposed as an addition to the Green Building Rating System that will acknowledge the land and ecosystems that surround the building envelopes of LEED projects.
